PROSPECT CAMPS

Missouri State Baseball welcomes you to our High School Prospect Camp at Hammons Field!  This is a great opportunity for 2026-2029 grads to get in front of our coaching staff and demonstrate your skill set in both a showcase/game format!    

 The camp will be split up between pitchers and position players (2 ways can still do both) as Pitchers will throw bullpens indoor on our trackman unit (Pitchers will not throw in the scrimmage, they will go bullpens only on trackman unit alongside our pitching staff) .  During the bullpen you will receive hands on coaching from our staff to help you elevate your game!  

Position players will run the 60 in the morning followed by a defensive workout.  Each player will throw to get their throwing velocity recorded and then go into our BP session.  Players will take BP on Hammons Field prior to playing a machine pitch scrimmage.  This will allow our coaches to get a look at each player in a game environment getting as many reps as possible!  

This camp will be capped so sign up before all the spots fill up!!   

General schedule for the day (subject to change) 

Position players and 2 ways 

• 8:00-8:30- Check in 
• 8:30-8:40- Introduciton 
• 8:40-9:00- Stretch 
• 9:00-9:30- 60 yard  
• 9:30-10:30- Defensive workout (throwing velocity) 
• 10:30-12:00- Batting practice rotations (Hit on field, Hit in cages, Shag, Tour) 
• 12:30-1:30- Game 1 (team 1 vs team 2) - Machine pitch (maximize reps) 
• 1:30-2:30-    Game 2 (team 3 vs team 4)- Machine pitch (maximize reps) 

Pitcher only 

• 10:30-10:45 Check in 
• 10:45-11:15- Pitching presentation (from pitching coach) 
• 11:15-12:00- Prep for bullpen 
• 12:00- Bullpens will start  

20-30 pitch bullpens on trackman with pitching coach

Can leave when bullpen is complete 

Please bring all baseball gear including gym shoes and cleats.  Lunch will not be provided.
